Re: Cloud: 'Citrix Receiver could not contact the server' and/or Cloud Application Icons Missing Please call in and ask for Cloud Escalations, or email gcc-remote-cloud@csdental.com with your account information (account number or practice phone number) so we can look up your account and see what happened. I could bring up the SF site and log on and see all of my published apps but when I clicked on any of them, I got a message saying, 'Unable to launch your application. Contact your help desk with the following information: cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server. There is no Citrix XenApp server configured on the specified address.'
“Citrix XenApp could not contact the server. Please check your network connection.”
Solution
Complete the following steps to fix the issue:
- In the Control Panel, open Internet Options and select the Connections tab.
Click LAN Settings.
- In the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog box, ensure that the Use a proxy server for your LAN and Bypass proxy server for local addresses check boxes are selected.
- Click OK.
- In the Proxy Settings dialog box, specify the local subnet in Exceptions > Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with field as shown in the following image:
